Job Title: Marketing Coordinator-- Local Casual Dining Chain
DUTIES:
• Plan and administer annual marketing calendar including media buys, guest rewards programs, promotional events, and food specials.
• Partner with Director of Operations, Executive Chef and IT department in creating new specials and implementing necessary systems
• Confer marketing objectives and provide program details, procedures and team member training materials to unit management for effective delivery and implementation of marketing programs at the store level.
• Plan local community events and programs with general managers.
• Provide logo and creative specifications and negotiate corporate pricing for team member uniforms, glassware, custom paper goods, etc.
• Serve as internal advertising agency/account executive for the company, receiving and fulfilling all units’ marketing requests.
• Creative direction for and some graphic design of all POP materials, menus, advertising pieces, etc.
• Source vendors for collateral production and coordinate fulfillment.
• Update company websites.
• Administer corporate email marketing programs.
• Coordinate creative requests and media buys with media outlets including: negotiating billboard leases and trafficking print and radio creative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient in both Windows and Mac Platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Functional knowledge of HTML
• Basic knowledge of print production
• Ability to multi-task and switch easily between “right brain” and “left brain” tasks
• Ability to work irregular hours as dictated by business needs
• Team player and willingness to take on tasks outside of Marketing Dept as needed
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising; or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management with additional design and marketing experience; at least two years experience in a similar position.
Other equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
